SciFi shows

Watching SciFi shows enough will give you a chance to focus more on some of the background details rather than the characters and dialogue. You start to notice some things if you look closely. Things like the roster of Voyager's dead being the production credits for a rival show (Thanks Scott!) or a duck on one of the Star Trek computer display panels.
Recently I've been looking at the background stuff of both Star Trek and Andromeda. I notice that, at least in Voyager, there are a lot of screens that will show the Cat's eye Nebula when they aren't doing anything else. The Cat's Eye Nebula by the way is three thousand lightyears from Earth so at absolute closest it is about 65,000 lightyears from the Delta Quadrant.
I justt noticed in Andromeda a picture of the Eagle Head Nebula (which I believe I did see before in Star Trek as well.

It is just interesting to see what stock pictures they have to stick in places when they need some space filled.
